Although Students may have limited entrepreneurial experience it does not mean the doors to forming a credible business with secured financial backing are closed to them. We work with Students to help them become problem solvers and form concepts which businesses can be built around; skills, knowledge, industry credibility, legal & tax advice, board members and finance naturally form around a good business idea and we find those ideas and nurture them through to successful investment and growth..
We work with Universities to bring real-world entrepreneurial and Start-Up experience to Students in a number of ways;
For students with viable business concepts we have tools and support beyond the classroom and we introduce young Founders and their institutions to a proven and managed framework to ensure the optimum chances of investment success and post-investment profitability.
For University IP Transfer and Commercialisation Departments we offer a managed route to our network of Global investors. High street banks, VC, PE, ICO and crowd funding sources are all part of our network and between them they hold a combined investment capital of £1.2b. For Universities who are seeking £1m-£10m we provide pre-investment advice and a managed route to that network.
" Automation in degree-mandatory careers is rising sharply and all Students entering their career space will need skills which cannot be automated in order to survive and certainly if they want to progress. In most cases this will mean developing lateral thinking and strategic problem solving skills which when deployed result in an operational or commercial gain for their future employer. These skills are the necessary building-blocks for entrepreneurship and we want to support more Students and their Universities in developing business concepts into successfully funded Spin-Out enterprise."
